Each of the six compartments on the field of this rather course and crudely woven small soumak bag contain a hook-outlined design with a centrally placed eight-pointed star. The idol-like crosses on the white main border are very unusual and original but the rest of the design lacks the sophistication present in the other illustrated examples. It is charming but speech-less and does not nearly compare to the anthropomorphic crosses shuffling across the borders!
